The duration of the B.E. programme is four years whereas the B.Arch course takes fives years to complete its duration. The university also provides B.E. degree under lateral entry. Students should secure a place in the state rank of Chhattisgarh in architectural Aptitude test of AIEEE (determined by totaling the marks obtained in Mathematics and Architectural Aptitude test of AIEEE) to get admission in the Technical courses. The eligible Students should secure a place in the merit list of CG-PET/AIEEE, Raipur for admissions to B.E. In general, the admissions to B.E. course shall be governed by the rules by Directorate of Technical Education or any other competent authority of the State Government of Chhattisgarh.
The university also offers several courses in the field of Pharmacy at Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Diploma level. The B.Pharm course is of a period of four years whereas the duration period of the D.Pharm and M.Pharm courses is two years.Admission to the B.Pharm course is done on the basis of merit in the last qualifying examination.
At PG level, the university offers Master of Technology degree to the aspiring Students. The M.Tech programme is offered under 33 different specializations and with the duration period of two years. Only the Students with a valid GATE score can apply for the M.Tech. courses. Application for the GATE examination can be made online at its official website.
At PG level, the university also offers courses in the field of Business Administration and Computer Application. The MBA programme is of two years and the MCA programme is of a period of three years. The MBA programme is also offered on part-time basis for the working professionals for which the duration period is maximum three years. A Student holding a graduate degree (at least of three years duration) or post-graduate degree of the University or of any other University recognized to be equivalent thereto by the University with at least 50% of Marks in aggregate in the Faculty of either Engineering, Medical Science, Agriculture, Social Science, Commerce, Arts, Life science, Hotel Management, shall be eligible for application for admission to MBA course. Admission to the MCA programme is done on the basis of an entrance examination conducted by VYPAM, C.G. and executed by the Additional Director, Technical Education, C.G. or any other body approved by the University or any other agency decided by the University.
