The Kannur University was established in 1996.The university focuses on providing development of higher education in districts of Kerala State.Earlier the university was known by the name of Malabar University.The objective of University was to develop Higher Education in Kasargod and Kannur districts.The university owns more than 90+ Government And Private affiliated colleges.

The Kannur University has been established by a special Act of Kerala Legislative Assembly passed in the year 1996. The main objective behind the establishment can be attributed to the development of higher education in the Kasargod and Kannur Revenue Districts respectively. The university offers admissions under different courses available in the following main disciplines: Legal Studies, Mass Communication & Journalism, Teacher Education, etc. The university courses can be studied under the following main campuses- Thalassey Campus, Palayad; Mangattuparamba Campus; Departments at Kannur Town; Payyanur Campus; Kasargod Campus; Manathavady Campus; Nileswaram Campus and Community Colleges respectively.

Kannur University has recognized on 2nd March 1996 by the former Honorable Chief Minister of Kerala. The main objective to build this university is to provide higher education in state of Kerala.

It is a multi-campus university with campuses spread over at various locations under its jurisdiction and university by the name of “Malabar University” had come into survival even earlier by the passing of an ordinance by the Governor of Kerala, on 9th November 1995.

1. First of all you have to go to official website of Kannur University which is www.kannuruniversity.ac.in
2. After that you should go on the ‘examination’ tab available at left side of home page.
3. Now new page will open having ‘Student’s Corner’ at right side.
4. After that you must Choose ‘Hall Tickets’ tab from list.
5. Now you have to Select ‘UG’ or ‘PG’ or ‘PROFESSIONAL’ or ‘OTHERS’ like according to your course.
6. Now select link of course for which you are going to appear examination.
7. After that you need to enter the registration no. then press ‘submit’ tab.
8. Now Kannur University UG & PG Hall ticket will display on your computer screen.
9. Download and take printout of Kannur University April Hall ticket for future reference.
